| INTRODUCTION |
|
Bionics Brackish Aqua-V-50 Series for desalination systems for brackish water are designed for feed water with a TDS (Total dissolved solids) less then 10000 ppm. Due to some new developments in membrane technology the Bionics Brackish Aqua V-50 ultra systems work with low pressure RO membranes (12 to 20 bars).
With systems as small as 250L/hr and up to 25 m3/hr we can treat most of the demands. The standard design has a pre filter, high pressure pump, Low Energy Reverse Osmosis Elements, Flow meters on permeate, concentrate and recycle stream, and is microprocessor controlled.
Optional, all systems can be equipped with a dosing system for antiscalants or biocides to protect the membranes against scaling or fouling. We also provide other pretreatment systems like multimedia filters, water softeners of de-ironing filters. In order to produce a product which meets the required water quality standards, commercial Reverse Osmosis systems must integrate various processing stages. The following chart describes these stages.
The equipment required for these various stages can be purchased "stand-alone", or separately, if needed. More usually, and more economically, we will supply an integrated, or "turnkey" system, in which the needed stages and equipment are pre-connected and tested. |

Multimedia Filter
